High Performance can be viewed on multiple levels: (a) Performing at a consistently high level despite the circumstances, (b) Committing to the pursuit of excellence within the scope of one’s limitations — natural ability, time, finances, and other life commitments, and/or (c) Demonstrating effective and enduring leadership qualities.

Athletes who routinely perform at a high level are motivated and committed to their valued goals.  They enjoy themselves while training and competing hard.  Their sport participation provides an avenue to deeply connect with others, gain life lessons, and build confidence; while putting themselves in position to achieve peak performances.

I work with individuals who are committed to continuous improvement and personal growth.  This has included an eleven year-old three-sport athlete playing in his local youth leagues, a high school lacrosse player transitioning to a D1 program, a middle-aged triathlete wanting to overcome fears and improve times, and a professional skier training to win gold.  

Through Individualized 1-on-1 Coaching Sessions, you will learn to:

I approach each moment with enthusiasm and each individual in a genuine, empathetic manner.  Our work together is built on a mutual understanding that lasting change does not happen overnight, it’s something that is worked on over time with patience and dedication.  As a result, I maintain an open, caring, supportive relationship with my clients well into their careers.

Services include:

  • Meeting in-person or online via skype, face-time or phone
  • Coaching sessions lasting 60-minutes in length
  • Typically meeting once a week, leading to every other week

Note:  Logistics such as the location and frequency of sessions, on-site observation and package options are dependent on the client’s needs and interests.  Payment plans are accepted.  Results primarily depend on the individual’s level of investment.

Sessions are usually one-on-one.  Collaboration with members of the support system (e.g. coaches, parents) is included when appropriate and mutually agreed upon.



“The Personal Excellence Package”  –  6 Sessions

This training offer is recommended for younger athletes, athletes preparing for a near-future event or needing a mindset boost.  

This package includes:

  • Assessment using the Mental Performance Model (MPM)
  • Tailored mental performance plan using mindset skills
  • Integration of mental performance plan into training, competition, and lifestyle routines
  • Summary notes of coaching sessions


“The High Performance Package”  –  12 Sessions

This training offer is recommended for mature athletes who are committed to pursuing optimal performances and reaching their fullest potential.

This package includes:

  • Comprehensive assessment using the Mental Performance Model (MPM)
  • Tailored mental performance plan using mindset skills
  • Full integration of mental performance plan into training, competition, and lifestyle routines
  • Summary notes of coaching sessions
